notebook icon.jpgA note from Mrs. Chern…. I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and is gearing up for
possible winter weather this weekend. Report Cards went home on Friday. Please be sure to sign it
and send back the envelope. The report card and other reports are yours to keep. There is a spot for
you to mark if you would like a conference.  Of course over track out I will offer a special Track Out
Reading Challenge. This time of year I make snowman lanterns with the kids to encourage them to
read in a new fun way. Please send your child to school with a cleaned out empty glass jar. It can be
the size of a pickle jar/tomato sauce jar. If you have extras please send them in as well  in case
someone doesn’t bring one in. This is always a fun art project to promote reading by “snowman
lantern”!
