Here are some of the links we use in the classroom.

The login information for these can be found in your child's D.O.T. notebook.  Your child will be taught how to use all of these so they should have no trouble when they get to the site.

Use this to access Dreambox, Letterland, Google Drive, Google Classroom, and Discovery Education.

Epic!
Fiction and Nonfiction texts online


This website has hundreds of fiction and nonfiction books to read online. Books can be sorted by reading level, genre, interest, etc

Tumble Books 
This site has hundreds of fiction and non-fiction titles for your child to read along with . There are also quizzes after many books to check to see if your child comprehended what they heard.

Story Online
This site has a variety of books for children to listen to.


This site had nonfiction texts about a variety of topics. This a great place to research or learn about science or social studies topics. 

This site has book pairings for all different subject areas and interests. Book pairing are of a fiction and non-fiction text related to the same topic. Words are highlighted as they are read. Great for practicing reading fluency. 

Spelling City
This website give you an opportunity to practice your current week's spelling words. See your child's D.O.T. notebook for login information. 

BrainpopJr. 
This site has videos, quizzes and games on various reading, writing, math, science and social studies topics. You can learn just about anything on this site.

Sites we have not used yet

This site offers math practice that is specifically tailored to your child's needs. It is an "extra" math site so it does not cover the entire curriculum. It's purpose it help develop your child's automatically and fluency with math facts.
This site offers student paced practice/lessons based on a placement they completed. Students can work on math, reading, language, vocabulary and science topics.
