A note from Mrs. Chern…
What a great week. We had our Apex Fun Run and made it to our 2nd
reward of Pajama Day. We earned 25 BEARS tickets and had Stuffed
Animal Day and those who completed the August Reading challenge got
popsicles. It has been a great week. We also gained a new friend.
Welcome Elijah.

This Week’s Standards…
Reading: What is nonfiction/expository reading? What is the purpose? What do we
have to retell?
